Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

Sway is developed by Anas Kabila ('we', 'us'), based in Morocco. Contact:hello@swaystretch.com

Sway is built so that your data stays on your device. This policy explains what that means in practice.

The short version

Sway does not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal information. There are no accounts, no servers, and no analytics. The app works entirely offline, except when you buy or restore Sway Pro, which goes through Apple.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect:

  • Your name, email address, or any account information
  • Your location
  • Device identifiers or advertising identifiers
  • Usage analytics, crash reports, or behavioural data
  • Contacts, photos, or any other data from your device

Sway has no user accounts and no backend servers. There is nothing for us to collect.

Information stored on your device

Sway stores the following locally on your device, and only on your device:

  • Session history — the date, duration, routine name, and number of stretches for each session you complete
  • Your preferences — reminder time, voice guidance and haptics settings, and similar options
  • Onboarding state — whether you have completed the initial setup

This information never leaves your device. It is not backed up to our servers because we do not operate any. If you have iCloud backup enabled for your device, this data may be included in your device backup, which is managed by Apple under Apple's privacy terms, not ours.

Deleting the app removes all of this information permanently.

Apple Health

If you grant permission, Sway writes each completed session to Apple Health as a flexibility workout. This data is stored in Apple Health on your device and is governed by Apple's privacy protections and your own Health app settings.

Sway only writes to Apple Health. It does not read your health data.

You can revoke this permission at any time in the Health app under Sharing → Apps → Sway, or in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health. Revoking permission does not affect the rest of the app.

Notifications

If you enable the daily reminder, Sway schedules a local notification on your device. Local notifications are generated and delivered entirely by iOS on your device. No notification data is sent to us or to any third party.

You can disable reminders at any time in the app's settings, or in iOS Settings → Notifications → Sway.

Purchases

If you buy Sway Pro, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment details.

To know whether Sway Pro is unlocked, the app checks with Apple's StoreKit framework on your device. This check involves no server of ours, and no personal data is sent to us.

Third parties

Sway contains no third-party SDKs, no advertising networks, no analytics providers, and no tracking of any kind. We do not share data with anyone, because we do not have any of your data to share.

The one other party involved is Apple: for purchases of Sway Pro, and for Apple Health if you grant permission. Both are governed by Apple's own privacy terms, not ours.

Children's privacy

Sway does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. Because the app collects no data at all, it complies with children's privacy regulations by design.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a future version of Sway introduces any feature that sends data to us, or to a third party on our behalf, we will update this policy before that feature ships, and the app will ask for your permission at the time. No current feature does.
